Athletic Chamber is grounded by a simple principle:
To create a positive environment for our members, fitness professionals, as well as the community around us.

While aiding clients in reaching their fitness goals, and trainers to build fulfilling and rewarding careers in fitness, we want to build a community together that lets them share their passion and experiences, and empower each other to be the best version of themselves.

meet the team


Andrew Chua

Started out as a full-time rugby coach and thereafter transitioning into a Strength and Conditioning coach and personal trainer,

Andrew is equipped with many years of experience working with athletes of different age groups and different sporting backgrounds.


Through these experiences, he has gained the skills on how to effectively work with athletes, as well as with the average gym-goer.

Other than working with athletes, Andrew is a licensed World Rugby Educator who helps to deliver Strength and Conditioning coaching courses as well as Rugby-specific coaching courses for World Rugby.

With his experience, he able to customise his programmes according to the needs and abilities of his clients, while focusing on the form and execution of each movement.

Elfi Saine

Working as a surfing instructor for 3 years, as well as a personal trainer for over 6 years, Elfi has had the opportunity to work with a huge and diverse range of clients and athletes, helping them achieve greatness for their fitness and rehabilitation goals. 

With a strong belief in having a balanced lifestyle and a stronger body, Elfi specializes in flow, functional movements as well as mobility, tailoring workouts to suit each individual's needs with goals of challenging improvements.

Scott Vanderput

A physiotherapist by trade, Scott brings a holistic approach to his sports coaching. He trains, educates, and empowers individuals to take control of their own conditioning and rehabilitation journey.

Scott was also previously a Strength and Conditioning (S&C) Coach to a number of Singapore’s national sports teams, where he built a strong foundation in the areas of performance and rehabilitation with athletes and non-athletes alike.


  • M.Sc. Physiotherapy, Curtin University (Western Australia)

  • B.Sc. Exercise and Sports Science,  Edith Cowan University (Western Australia)

  • Singapore Sports Institute - Strength & Conditioning Level 2

Emanuel Chen

Having been an active athlete in many different sports from a young age, Emanuel has been exposed to a variety of training styles that would not only be applicable to athletes, but to anyone looking to improve or make a positive change to their lifestyles.


Growing up in St Andrew’s and with Rugby a big part of his adolescence years, Emanuel has not only represented his school in games, he was also part of the Singapore U20s Rugby team for the 7’s tournaments.

With a passion in sports and exercise, Emanuel pursued his studies in Sports & Nutrition to further complement and enhance his coaching skills, knowledge and ability, with the goal to help others with their health and fitness.



  • Diploma in Nutrition, Health and Wellness - Singapore Polytechnic)

  • Certified Personal Trainer - American Council on Exercise (ACE)

  • Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED Certified.
